Field Trip! – Montauk State Park

May 21, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

Free

Join our young nature lovers group (ages 8-17) and our families for a fantastic field trip to Montauk State Park! Our hope is that we will get to see a beautiful and interesting Cerulean Warbler (pictured in event graphic) and other spring birds. We will meet at the Old Stone Shelter (old ‘CCC’ shelter on website) and then proceed to bird around the area. There will be bathroom facilities nearby. Make sure to dress for the weather – it can make a big difference in the level of enjoyment. We hope you can join us for birding fun!

If you live out of the area and still wish to join us to possibly see some beautiful Cerulean Warblers, you can consider camping in one of the nearby parks. These campgrounds fill up FAST so make sure to secure a spot as soon as you can. You can find camping options here: https://mostateparks.com/campgrounds/montauk-state-park
